Most Common Questions
In the UK, since the Register of Exercise Professionals, there has been a requirement for Personal Trainers to have a Level 3 (or above) Personal Trainer Certificate from a recognised Awarding Body. We require you to upload a copy of your certificate, prior to payment, to prove your validity. This can be a photo or scan of your certificate and can be up to 10MB in size.
Insurance will be then issued to you. However, if the insurers find that the minimum Level 3 Certificate (as approved by CIMSPA and UK Skills) is not valid (or has been forged) your insurance will be null and void. There will be no refunds for null and void insurance policies. If you are unsure whether you are Level 3 qualified or not, then please contact us first. Please don't waste your money.
We explain that below but, in short, you should have both.
"Public Liability" insurance covers you for cases where you, or your business, cause damage to property or injury to a third party. You are liable for related costs.
"Professional Indemnity" insurance protects you, or your business, when an accident/incident happens due to the professional recommendation(s) you have made to you client regarding training or activities you are qualified for.
In short, yes we only provide recurring policies - for a reason
We are absolutely honest about how we operate. Every policy we issue is a recurring policy - to safeguard you first and foremost.
However, unlike other companies, we make cancelling the policy prior to issuing a new one, very simple and easy. You can cancel at any time up to 30 days before the end of the current policy. We will send you multiple emails with clear and simple instructions on how to cancel your policy with us yourself. You shoudl not have to call us or jump through hoops to keep contorl of your policy.
